Separate exposition "In Memory of the Patriots of Vitebsk Region 1941-1945"

The exposition is housed in the basements of the Vitebsk theological school building, which during the fascist occupation of Vitebsk was home to the Security Service Operational Team (SD-9) (from August 1941 to December 1943). The upper floors of the building were used for interrogations, while the basement served as a prison cell. According to incomplete data, only for the period from July 18 to December 18, 1942, 3026 people passed through the dungeons of the SD.

The restored cells contain photo-documentary materials about the heroes of the Vitebsk underground resistance who languished there: Vera Khoruzha, Sofia Pankova, Evdokiya Suranova, Antonina Yermakovich, Raisa Sheryakova, Eduard Grebenkov, Lidia Berezkina and others.
